Burleigh is built around its famous point break and the headland national park, and that coastal setting shapes the electrical work here. Salt-laden air off the Coral Sea works away at anything metal and exposed, so the most common thing we replace is corroded switchgear: meter boxes pitted with rust along the Esplanade and Goodwin Terrace, seized outdoor points, and connections degrading behind the panel. Then there are the loads. Houses set back from the beach often run a pool or spa needing its own compliant, bonded circuit, and beachfront unit blocks adding split-system aircon can push boards past what they were built for, showing up as overloaded power points on hot afternoons. Add the odd storm-tide surge on low-lying lots near Tallebudgera Creek, and whether your power comes through Energex to an old ceramic board or a new build, the fix is the same: work done properly and left safe and sorted.
